Digital Transformation · Friction Audit
From administrative portal to resort front door.
A side-by-side audit of the current LOFS golf web presence against the proposed Digital Flagship. The goal: a fast, mobile-first resort experience that books more rounds, with zero risk to existing systems.
Cluttered 2004 ASP.NET infrastructure
Heavy walls of text and legacy tables create cognitive overload for prospective golfers. Visitors have to read to find anything.
Mobile-first luxury editorial UI
Modern editorial design with responsive layouts, intentional whitespace and 48px touch targets. Every section has one clear action.
of visitors are on phones, and the site isn't built for them
Unresponsive pinch-to-zoom layouts push mobile visitors to give up before they ever reach a tee time.
Direct booking hub and 15-second quick-ticker
1-click tee times, the TrackMan winter portal and the turn menu up front, with today's conditions readable at a glance.
High operational drag and buried amenities
Staff lose 15+ hours a week answering questions the site should answer, while the club's best amenities stay hidden in paragraphs.
Amenities brought out from behind the text
Dining, spa and training each get their own card, image and action, so members and guests find them without calling the office.
Technical approach
Decoupled, zero-risk architecture
The new site runs on golf.lofs.org as a separate front end. It reads what it needs through a narrow connection layer and never writes to the central LOFS POA databases, so existing systems keep running exactly as they do today.
- New, built for this project
- Existing LOFS systems, unchanged
